Excellent advice on psychic readings, predictions and future comings.

I came across a great article, written by Cherry Sage. She hits on some points that clearly are excellent to know. I explain this to my clients all the time when the instance happens. There are times in a reading where the client will ask a specific question, and I do get insight, but it may not be what the person is looking for or thinking will happen. Keep an open mind when having a reading. The times when there is no clarity, an answer can be given, but it's clear on what it could be key to. You could be in the midst of two or even three situations where the insight could apply to, yet there isn't clarity given as to which situation it is. What you must remember is that you have free will, you have to take control of yourself and for your own personal growth. You must take responsibility for desired changes and play a role. By just sitting back, staying inside and not doing anything, your chances will pass you by.

Always be sure to follow your instinct. Find yourself a good advisor, tarot reader, spiritual counselor who is honest, unbiased and truly interested in your well being. In my experience, I too have had some great readings for next to nothing. I've been totally disappointed by some of the most expensive 'psychics' out there. I found them to be very vague and just general - would fit anyone. Yet I had a favorite spot that I used to enjoy decades ago. It was a psychic restaurant. You'd pay a set fee - like $35 and would make an appointment with your tarot reader/advisor of your choice. I favored Susan. Yet many favored Billy. Everyone pretty much zoned in on who they would feel most comfortable with (quite a few advisors there with different gifts/talents to choose from). You would go early so you could have lunch and get yourself prepared - go over your list of questions or your concern that you needed help and guidance with. Then after your lunch, the psychic advisor/tarot reader would come over and sit with you at the table and go to work. It was really great - great food, great service, great atmosphere, great advisors.

When we study history, we come to notice cave paintings which may date back to 10,000 years ago, and we get to see the caves art in detail, which may show all sorts of rituals being performed. Many cultures are still alive and practicing these spiritual traditions of their ancestors. Spirituality is still around and alive today and it still affects us in one form or another and still it touches nearly every heart in one way or another.

Different cultures and societies will practice their beliefs in varied ways. And almost all cultures have an oracle or a type spiritual psychic who may be consulted regularly. Psychics are not some type of new invention, nor is is a form of job opportunity which was created for our purpose in today's world. This has been seen in many cultures for long periods of time. Are you ready to jump in and find an advisor, reader or psychic?

Greetings and welcome. Are you new to this exploration? Have you come to the conclusion that you are ready to seek some guidance, wisdom and insight to a matter that you just can't seem to put your finger on, figure out or get through and shift away from? Do you have an open mind? If so, these suggestions are for you! I have touched on this subject a few times in my other articles, but I came across this and just loved the wording and message it gets across. Psychic advice can be powerful because it can provide much needed insight into your life that you would otherwise not be aware of. Often at times you are so wrapped up in the day-to-day activities and events of your life that you shut out your own intuition and ability to access your Higher Self. Did you know psychics can get scammed too?

Yes, it is sad but true, but no one is safe from being scammed. It happens to everyone at one time or another. Lately there has been much blogging on 'fake' psychics. I have posted quite a few articles on this subject myself. Now, I'm turning the table and I'd like to touch on 'fake' customers. Yes, pychics do get scammed by customers. Did you know that? How is this possible, you ask? Let me tell you. Keep in mind that many of these examples took place many years ago when this subject was taboo and frowned upon by many people. Todays' world is very open to it and accepting of it.

There were times when:

Clients would pay for a session, then they will chargeback (almost immediately) afterwards, having received the answers to the questions they asked.

Clients will post comments, like, asking for free advice because they have been taken advantage of in the past or because they have no money and really need help, and when they get some good hearted psychics to reply and perhaps even give some 'free' suggestions to the client, the client will slander the psychic.

Clients will demand a reading for free. They will cause a ruckus or will use any type of religious belief for having the psychic provide the free reading, and/or they will argue or speak loudly until either the expert relents (if in public), hangs up or blocks them.

Clients will threaten to hurt, wound and slander the advisor/psychic's name on some type of blog or public listing by leaving poor or negative feedback or on some kind of black list unless they receive their answers for free.

Clients will claim in their live chat on the phone or in chat rooms on the internet that they have no money so that they can receive as much information as they can for free. Some advisors will give some tidbits to help or suggestions to follow and that is fine. But please don't take advantage of their generousity and understanding. Heed their words and suggestions and later on come back to thank them not to slander them. Appreciate the time they spent with you out of the goodness of their heart and because they were concerned for your general well being.

They will email and ask for some free minutes and use the connection time to ask 'sample' questions and wait for the advisor to give them an answer, then they will end the session and hang up after receiving it. Yes and no questions can be difficult to answer. There are times when much more info is presented and needs to be incorporated into the answer. I think I've had the above happen to me a time or two which is why I am mentioning it in this blog posting. If it's happened to me, chances are it's happened to other advisors. If not, consider yourself lucky.

Now, keep in mind that the above are only examples of some of those tactics. Thankfully, it's not all that often that this happens, although it is still common enough that it is worth a mention.

For many advisors and psychics, this work is their livelihood, just like any other source of employment, where payment is made for services rendered. In this case, the services are answers to their questions or insight and guidance given. And just like the business for other services in the working community, they certainly do merit some kind of payment. Some examples would be: The electric company won't provide 'free' service and the landlord or the bank certainly won't allow us to stay in the apartment/house for nothing. So why shouldn't the same apply to the advisors? They too, should be paid for their services rendered. There is alot of effort on the pychics part to get the answers that the querent is requesting. Plus, they constantly have to be grounded and balanced in order to get the insight. Please be kind to your advisor and respect them for the job they do. The advisors use their gifts for the good of all and not to mame, hurt or injure. So keep this in mind when dealing with a psychic. If you don't like an answer, don't try to hurt or injure the advisor. Take a step back and really look at yourself honestly. The advisor received the info for the greater good of your well being, not to hurt you. If you want a change, start with yourself.

Scare tactics used by some 'psychics'

Here are a few scare tactics to watch for. Lately, I've been asked or have received questions in reference to some of these concerns. I have touched on some of them before in previous blog postings but it's worth another mention. Don't allow yourself to fall victim or be conned by these fears. Simply say 'no thanks' or just hang up.


Spells and the high prices to perform: The scammer psychic might offer highly priced spells or kits, with guaranteed results for love or a reunion spell that can cost as much as $200 and/or run to a cost of above $500 - be sure to avoid this. (Spells should not be used as a method to control or manipulate the free will of another, nor to harm anyone).

Curses: The scammer psychic might claim that someone has placed a type of curse on you, which is resulting in a string of bad things happening lately. They will usually offer to remove them for high prices. Don't do this or fall victum to it. Keep in mind that even if Voodoo is mentioned, Voodoo is not about placing curses, it's basically about calling upon the spirits to perform a task at the request of the practitioner. We are responsible for our own actions (remember the rule of karma) so if bad things do happen, then it means that something needs to change and you are the key to changing it. What is up, must come down and vice versa. It's called the wheel of life.

Negative entities: The scammer psychic might claim that there are negative entities surrounding or attached to a person which is causing all kinds of havoc or negative things to happen. They will charge some crazy high price for an exorcism of some type. Again, this is NOT TRUE so don't fall victum to this. Cycles change for things to improve, for things to be revised and rethought out and for what I like to call 'gardens to be weeded out', basically getting rid of bad habits or situations. Also, how we feel about ourselves is often reflected onto others just like a mirror, so we will attract the same as those emotions we project out.

Scare tactics: The scammer psychic might use various scare methods to prey on your vulnerabilities and fears in order to have you think and believe that you should return to them or that you must not use or visit any other psychic except for them. This is false. Everyone has the freedom to choose whomever they like for services. No psychic can claim this and there certainly is no harm in consulting with other psychics for second or third opinions. Keep in mind though that by using and consulting with many psychics, it will most likely result in more confusion and "psychic overload." Most of my customers have three regulars. All of us have different gifts but we tie in together with messages which creates more insight to help the customer. There is nothing wrong with that. And beware of when psychics recommend other psychics. There have been instances when a person is recommended and when the customer makes contact the psychic knows so much about them already - that being said, you know the one advisor spoke to the recommended advisor about you. That is a no no. I recommend other psychics but we never ever compare notes or speak of concerns of the client. It's just a rule and common curtisy - like lawyer/client priviledge or priest/congregation priviledge. What is said between us is just that, between us.

Hire first, then ask your questions: The scammer psychic might insist on you hiring them first or putting down a deposit before any kind of question can be asked or spell performed. I don't agree with this and, in my opinion, this is not a good practice, as many people are on a tight budget and want answers. Most psychics don't mind sending a few free minutes so an interview can be done to see if they can connect with you and read your energy. If a psychic does not want to provide a connection beforehand or, at least, allow the question, then it's better to err on the side of caution and seek another person who would be willing to allow connection time.

Free readings, psychic readings....do's...don'ts...what to expect....

Free psychic readings can perhaps differ extremely in precision and accuracy. You may encounter con artists and fakes selling fake psychic services with the only ambition to be of making cash, however, there are many valid psychic readers available. Readings, in general, are to give guidance advice concerning the present and what can come about in the future. A vast majority of so called 'free' readings are just bait to get new customers. What it concerns is you join a group (free), open or make an account (free), enter in your info like name, etc., (free), then it asks you to enter in a credit card number. Hmmm, so how is that free? Bottom line, once you join the group, you get 3, 5 or 10 minutes free but if you go over the limit, you are charged (through your credit card) anywhere from $1.99 to $5.99 per minute. In order for a good phone reading, you should allow at least, the very least, 15 minutes.

The reasons are as wide as there are many on why people go to see psychics. Examples are perhaps for guidance on a present situation which is upsetting them - like relationships, career or school decisions, finances - or it could be for comfort about a loved one who has passed over, or even to find out more about themselves and gain higher wisdom and spirituality. Really, it could regard help with any number of things on any level.

In a conventional psychic reading, a part of the information will make sense and have some particular meaning to you and some you won’t be sure about. Psychics most certainly do have off days, just the same as everyone else, and from time to time they might decode something incorrectly but later on as time goes by, you'll get the 'Oh I get it' meaning and even though it may have been pertained to another way or meaning, you'll see how it could have made perfect sense that way but it played out in another way. Many and most readers say what they hear, see or feel and then it is up to you to interpret its meaning or meanings.

There may be a time when you receive information about the future which will not make any sense to you at all. You should still take all the information on board because no one knows what the future will bring them. A psychic may say you will take a holiday or vacation during the next month. You might poke fun of this idea because you have no time off work and no money but anything may happen between the time of your reading and the time of the predicted event.
Just by chance, you are given some time off or perhaps, you may win or come into some money.

A good number of people have the wrong idea and are mistaken that psychic readings are for the idea of telling them what to do. You might ask the reader, “should I leave my boy/girlfriend or should I get married? Or ask, is the right person for me?” and hope for a yes or no. NO, NO, NO. A respectable psychic will receive information about the situation, perhaps a thing or two you didn’t even know, and they can guide or enlighten you but will under no account or circumstances tell you what to do. We are all in control of our own lives and we need to make our own decisions in life. Consulting a psychic could be most helpful, enlightening and reassuring but a respectable psychic will receive the information about the situation, and give guidance only to help you make that decision yourself.

A psychic can also be a little off with something. Time in the spiritual plane does not work one in the same as time here on the physical plane. He or she might indicate that an event will come to pass “within a month” and maybe it actually takes two or three months. However, other information might be 'hit the nail on the head' straight on. Perhaps, the psychic will get something wrong (they are only human, after all) and it does happen. What you must remember is psychic readings vary and there are no two that are or will be the same.

Also an important factor to remember is that you may visit a psychic because you would like to know about your career, job or financial situation and yet you receive information about something else entirely. Remember that Spiritual information comes through when you need it most and require it. Even though you might be asking about work but receive information about your romantic life, family members or a spiritual path, you should be open to accept all the information that the psychic and spirit gives you with grace and thanks. Psychic readings do vary in accuracy and you may not hear what you were hoping to - yes, this does happen. You made the decision to seek guidance and to learn answers so you must be willing to try and understand the messages that were meant for you, whether it be to improve yourself, have more patience in a situation, that the romance isn't going to last, whatever it is, it was meant for you to understand and receive. Down the road, you may be glad it did occur - even if you didn't like hearing it at the time of the reading. But, for the most part, as long as you keep an open mind and enjoy the reading, it should be a pleasurable, enjoyable and informative experience on your behalf and for your benefit in mind.

Now, what about tipping? Do I tip? Do I not tip? That is solely up to you. If you are enlightened, then most definitely include a tip. Whether it be $2, $5 or $10 is up to you. If you are unsure of how you feel, then you do not have to leave a tip or include one. If one month down the road, you are amazed at how things have played out or if you are recalling the reading and feel lucky to know the messages you have received, then by all means, send a tip along with a thank you. However, no, you do not have to tip your reader or advisor so it is okay if you don't do so. You are by no means obligated to do so.

Be realistic in your search for a pyschic.

Before you get a psychic reading, whether online or in person, it is important that you know what to expect so that you can prepare ahead of time with your questions or your concerns and go in with realistic expectations. The amount of detail a psychic will be able to see will also vary depending on the person they are trying to read and the nature of the question.

First and foremost, no matter what the questions, please do not expect a psychic to be 100% accurate. Only God is all knowing. Be honest with your questions and keep an open mind. Always remember that the psychics job is to connect with your energy and if you don't have an open mind or ask honest questions, this will make the job of the pyschic difficult. I just can not stress the fact enough about asking honest, straight forward and specific questions. A psychic should be able to answer your questions/concerns and guide you to what is most likely to happen if you keep living the way you do or keep following on the path you are on. They should not tell you what you should do. Only you know what you should do. If you still aren't sure, give it some time and the path will become clear. Again, please remember that the amount of detail a psychic will be able to see will depend on the person they are trying to read and the nature of the question.

A psychic should not be telling you how to handle certain relationships or situations. They should just help you to realize and understand the possible outcomes. It is up to you to use the information from the psychic reading and take action, and change your life in a positive way or manner.

You must not expect a pyschic to give you answers to requests such as bringing back a lost love, putting curses on people, or influencing anothers will with psychic power. A genuine psychic connects to your energy to see the different possibilities in your future and to help you understand this. Your well being is should be their utmost concern. If your psychic claims to be able to cast hexes or bring back lost love, be wary, that is a big red warning flag for a psychic con artist. Do not be fooled by false statements such as you have a curse on you. Or the bad luck that is trailing you is because of a curse and for hundreds of dollars (is what it will boil down to because they may start off small like 50 bucks and when it don't work, they'll tell you this and that and rope you into buying more potions or spells and pray on your vulerableness) they can break the curse on you. Don't fall victim to that one. Think how can you be cursed when God blessed you first? Remember, God kissed you and breathed the air of life into you.

Email readings...Do they really work?

Many people these days are thinking about and pondering their future. They would, perhaps, like to get some guidance and insight in their choices on relationships, family concerns and with questions concerning finances and decisions to be made. Seeking advice from a genuine psychic can be very helpful. Why? Well because psychics can read your energy and by doing so, they can help you by giving some options on the advice and guidance that you seeking.

Sometimes it is hard to find a genuine psychic where you live or to even find the time to get a reading. You may feel embarrassed by walking into a pyschic's realm. What if someone see's you going in or coming out. What will your friends say? The internet has opened the possibilities to get psychic email readings. It is a simple alternative and can be as accurate as if you were physically meeting face to face with a psychic. People tend to think that a psychic reading has to be done face to face and in close conversation with the psychic, but nope, that is not true because a psychic can pick up on your energy through the email. There is an unseen energy that connects all living things and which a psychic medium can connect with, no matter the distance between them. I only do email readings now and I love it. The possibilities are endless and it's done with the strickest of confidentiality.

The only information needed to do a psychic email reading is some basic and/or specific questions that concerns you. For example, some psychics need a name and birthdate in order to connect with you. However, I do not need that info to pick up on your energy. I just tune into you. I do not even need your real name, a nick name is fine or a user name on the internet works too. I only need a birthdate if we are working on the lines of astrology. Just keep in mind that advisors have different talents and gifts and have their own way of working. It could be that they were trained and educated by getting a name and birthday from you. They may have different layouts if they are tarot readers. The cards may represent different meanings to different advisors. An example would be, if your question concerned a timeline or timeframe, and a card came up to give me a timeframe, what I may incorporate as a summer date, may be another advisors spring season. Tarot cards to readers are sacred tools. They have specific meanings to their counterparts. Just keep in mind that cards do have a variety of meanings to different readers. What works for one may not be the same as how it works for another.

A possible warning sign of a 'fake' psychic could be if they ask you a lot of questions such as your age, occupation or marital status. These questions can be used to fabricate answers to suit your personal profile or your question in general. Pay attention to your intuition or gut instinct. If you are not comfortable, just dance around it or don't give it out to the reader/advisor. A good way to sort this out or to begin your search is to interview your psychic first and feel them out to see if their gift is beneficial to you or what you are looking for. Have a list of questions ready, email your psychic (especially if they are being paid by the minute with phone calls) and ask them to send you some free minutes. Call them with the free minutes, have your list of questions ready and begin interviewing them to see what their specialty is or what gifts they have and what method they use. **Do not use the free minutes for your personal questions. It is impossible for a reader to connect in that short amount of time and give you the answers that you seek. Use the minutes to interview the advisor. After all, you are presumably hiring them for their expertise and some clarification. Be sure to check them out before you pay or you may be sorry for not doing your homework.** For example, ask if they are a medium, clairvoyant, etc. and do they use astrology, I Ching, Tarot, etc.. The extent to which they can tell you certain information will be based on their experience in their craft - skill, knowledge and natural gifts.

When you have contacted a psychic with your questions they should be able to tap into your energy with a focus on your questions to get the answers you need. No psychic is totally accurate no matter how you contact them so be wary of psychics who claim to be 100% accurate or make other bogus claims. God gave us all free will. Situations can change quickly just by another persons act. Example, a contract is to be signed for the purchase of a home on a specific day, but someone has a flat tire or has the flu (not neccessarily you) and so the delay causes a cancellation of the signing to another day. The instance of this other person's situation has changed manifestation on your part. So keep that in mind. Things can change, nothing is set in stone.

If you are planning on getting a psychic email reading, there are a few things you can do to prepare. It is important to clear your mind and focus on the questions that are the most important to you. If you are angry, go calm down. Take a bath or shower to relax and clear your mind, eat something, have a glass of wine-if you need to. Just clear your mind and be calm so the person you contact can tune in and not be blocked by your emotions. Be sure you know what you want answers to or guidance in before you call or email. Don't beat around the bush, be as direct and honest so you can get honest info.. Keep your mind open, even if you receive something you don't like or agree with, there is a reason why the pyschic received that info and you need to step back and look at yourself or the 'big picture' honestly. Yes, it may sting, but if you face it, things will turn around and you can use that info to grow and become a better you.

A few types of psychic abilities.

Clairvoyance, a psychic with clairvoyance can connect with people and use the minds eye to tune in and see people, objects, places, situations and scenes far away. Psychics with clairvoyance have been used in several cases to solve complex murder cases and crimes.

Psychometry is also a psychic ability that has been popular in media, movies and television lately. This ability allows the psychic to see what happened at a certain place, time or event by touching objects associated with that place or person. The objects can be small such as a persons jewelry, key, mobile phone or big items such as a car or a house.

Psychokinesis, a psychic with psychokinetic abilities can influence objects and items with their mind power.

Points to consider before you call/visit a psychic.

Greetings. Here are a few important points to consider before you call, visit or email a reader. Of course you want your reading to be the best and most accurate, so by keeping these points in mind, you won't waste anyone's time or your money in the long run and you'll be sure to get a good reading.

First thing to consider, I would like to advise anyone who is extremely angry at the moment to hold back from contacting an advisor. This is very important. Go take a shower, have a good cry, eat something to calm your stomach if you have to, do anything you can to get control of your emotions and calm yourself down before making that call. Anger can put up a block which keeps the energy from flowing through you and to the reader. With the economy being so bad right now, you'll be wise on how you spend your money, especially if you are paying per minute on the phone. I would also advise sending the reader (of your choice) an email before the reading and then arranging a call with them. This way you are checking with them to see if they are feeling up to the reading by feeling grounded and connected and you are open minded and relaxed to receive the information given to you. This will also help to connect your energy quicker, save you money and give the advisor a heads up on the issue that concerns you so they can focus in on it. Do what you can to be prepared in order to get the best information for your situation and hard earned money. It will make a difference.

Also, please take the time to write down your concerns on paper. This is really helpful. Look it over and make sure it is worded the way you are comfortable with. Be honest. If you are not honest, how do you expect guidance on the issue at heart? Your advisor can give the guidance or open your eyes to a path you didn't consider, but you must be honest, open minded and ready to confront it. Obviously, you are ready for a much needed change since your seeking has brought you this far and to understand that you need some help (guidance) and would like to get to the bottom of the issue. Another thing about writing down concerns on paper is that if the advisor mentions something to you - and as you are thinking about what they are saying - it may prompt you to ask questions about that subject, and after tackling that scenerio, you have your questions on paper in front of you so you can get back to the heart of your concern.
