Let's talk entertainment. Are you easily entertained or to you go through life with a scowl upon your face? I must admit, in my younger days, I had such a temper. Now that I'm older and wiser, I find entertainment in everything. And that includes myself – meaning my own actions.

Diabetes and medical supplies.
It seems to me that for about the past week or so, I have been bombarded with lots of questions about products and services. Now in a previous blog, I have commented that this is really not my expertise. However, with what experience I do have, I will comment upon.
For those of you who are inquiring, yes, I do have friends and family members who have restrictions and ailments - so to speak. Some days even I have my own restrictions. Anyway, let's talk diabetics. I do have family members and friends who are afflicted with diabetes. Some have had that pretty much all their life and others have been recently diagnosed with it. So I am quite familiar with symptoms and problems that can occur in the blink of an eye. If you are anything like me, I would highly suggest that you become educated on this subject. If someone you know or care about has been recently diagnosed with diabetes, please do not shun them, don't treat them any differently. Keep hanging out with them, keep inviting them to do things and keep them part of your life. After all, how do you think they feel? This can be life changing for some people.
Some will accept it better than others, meaning that some will think it's the end of the world while others will just go with the flow – it is what it is. Be there for the person, be their foundation and their rock and let them know that you are there for them and support them.
Many people will go to their doctor's office or the different pharmaceutical companies (drug stores) and order the supplies that they need. If they have insurance, sometimes the insurance will help pay for some of the supplies. In the past I have ordered from online companies. There have been two companies that I have ordered from, although one has slipped my mind and I can think of at this time. The one that I do remember is American diabetes wholesale – also known as ADW for short. They have amazing gift baskets that I like to give for birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions and even holidays. I have never had a problem with the company nor have I ever been disappointed by a product. (I will include the link below). Now again, keep in mind, that this may not be right for everybody but I found it to be helpful and thoughtful.
ADW also sells diabetic products for pets. Laugh all you want but people do love their pets and will go to great lengths to make their pets more comfortable in this life. Pets are considered family members and people will take the responsibility to care for their pets. Granted, some people are very shallow and once their pet is diagnosed with some affliction, they will drop their pet off at the nearest animal shelter or just abandon them altogether, which I find extremely disturbing. However on a good note, some people will do whatever it takes to save their pet and if that means they have to do without something then they will go without it for the sole purpose of the well-being of their pet. PetMeds is another popular site that people like to use for medications and supplies.
Another question that has been on people's minds that they've asked me about - healthcare equipment. Examples of these items would be wheelchairs, potty chairs, catheters, etc.. In a case like this, I would recommend AFC. Depending on the person needs, this company could help. Some people may need some of these items for just a short time frame and others may need for a good length of time. No matter what, it can't hurt to check the website out. You may see something and have questions which will prompt you to call the company and speak to a representative for more information and then again you may see exactly what you're looking for and can order it through the website.

I have also used it to check out wedding services and suppliers. In fact, I have recommended it to to people. Now whether either of these two people went with anybody that was on that list, I do not know - however, they did find it useful.
Keep in mind, that what is good for one person may not be suitable for another person. I could recommend Angie's List to 10 people and all 10 people may check it out but only two people may actually use a business/reference that they find on that list. So the decision is yours on whether this service is right for you.
It is also important to remember that there is a fee involved for this particular service. That alone may stop some people from joining. I'm sure plenty of people will be thinking, "I'm not going to pay out dollars for this, that is just ridiculous." Or they may be thinking with today's economy who can afford it. Every dollar counts now and I am on a strict budget. But what you must keep in mind is that the people who join this service, are serious about finding the best product or service for them and not having the wool pulled over their eyes. So the comments and the opinions that are left by people who are members, have actually tried one of these services or businesses, and sometimes that alone is worth the price in gold. These members are not leaving fluff or out to try and sell a product or service, like so many spammers. These members are telling you about their experience with this business or service so you can judge for yourself and make the correct decision that suits you and helps you find what you're looking for.
Also what I find to be a very helpful reference is to check out the Better Business Bureau for your area. Some businesses pay out money for an application to be Better Business Bureau certified. I find that to be most helpful when I am doing research on a particular company that I am interested in. This way I can also get a second opinion and look to see if they have any complaints against them and how many they have had in the past, if any. Even if a company is not a Better Business Bureau certified member, the Better Business Bureau still may have a record on that particular company that you may find very useful in making your decision.

Numerology
Not that long ago, I did a posting on this blog about numerology. That posting obviously hit a nerve amongst a lot of you because I have received many e-mails about this subject. I must admit that numerology was not my number one concern growing up or or something that I thought about on a day-to-day basis. Sure when in school, we would have math class and then later on I took some college classes for financing and accounting but that was the extent of it.
As I grew spiritually, I got into astrology,I got into Angels, I got into tarot readings and Rune readings,became practically obsessed with history and traditions, religions and cultures. And on occasion, I would come across a reference about numerology. I admit my interest was piqued and I did sort of study it to learn more about it and become more familiar with it. Yet it still was not something I thought was a life calling.
So approximately 2 years ago or so, I came across my friend Blair, a Master Numerologist. He really piqued my interest and intrigue me. He took the time to explain things, he was courteous, and he was happy to explain what he already had knowledge in concerning numerology. So I had a numerology chart done by him and from there, I've been singing his praises.Whether you believe in this or not, you really should give it a try. I really think you'll be surprised. I certainly do know that I was blown away by it.
Below is just a tid bit of what he wrote me concerning my numerology chart:
My expression number - You are creative, intelligent and have an attentiveness to detail that can border on obsession.... (Yep, that is true)
Potential Natural Talents and Ability - The height of self-expression for you (meaning me, personally) is when you are caught up on all of your work, the house is clean, the bills are paid and everything is in perfect order. You are the number that covets civilization and all of its contents the most. If life could be defined as a machine you are the nuts and bolts that holds everything together. You believe that action speaks volumes more than words and express your respect and love for others by using a practical down-to-earth approach. You believe the greatest path to your own personal truth is to live by your personal convictions. For this reason, you are often very concerned with taking care of yourself, maintaining your belongings and property and making sure that your family and children are well cared for.

Now keep in mind, that the above paragraphs are about me specifically. You have been gifted a brief glimpse inside me and about me as to who I am. Everything that was mentioned above is right on target. There was much more written in my chart, pages and pages, positive and negative, yet all of it was correct and true. The chart basically showed my life and the steps that I have taken to overcome certain habits and patterns. Meaning that some of the negative things that were in the chart I have worked on and overcome decades ago.
As people age they grow, not only physically but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Everyone has an awakening moment.
I truly can't express the joy that I found having my chart done with Blair. The information just helped me get a better insight and become more comfortable with who I am and where I was on my journey in life.
