Questions about products.

Lately, I have received some questions and concerns from people who have been inquiring about certain businesses or products. Actually, that is not my field of expertise. I, like you, must do my share of research when I am looking for a specific product or service. However what I can recommend, I will write about below. (And I will include links that you may find helpful, which I have used. Whether the links will generate income for someone, I can't say because I don't know. However, if it saves me time on my research, then who cares-the less time for me, the better. Just find what I want/need and let me be done with it so I can move on with other things to do throughout my day).

A few questions have come in about Angies List – have I ever used Angie's List before and if so, what for? Yes, I have used that service before. I have used it to research day care facilities and I have recommended it for a few people to check out for the specific purpose. Angie's List has been around now for some time and more and more people are using it and commenting on it about their experiences.



I have also used it to check out wedding services and suppliers. In fact, I have recommended it to to people. Now whether either of these two people went with anybody that was on that list, I do not know - however, they did find it useful.



Keep in mind, that what is good for one person may not be suitable for another person. I could recommend Angie's List to 10 people and all 10 people may check it out but only two people may actually use a business/reference that they find on that list. So the decision is yours on whether this service is right for you.

It is also important to remember that there is a fee involved for this particular service. That alone may stop some people from joining. I'm sure plenty of people will be thinking, "I'm not going to pay out dollars for this, that is just ridiculous." Or they may be thinking with today's economy who can afford it. Every dollar counts now and I am on a strict budget. But what you must keep in mind is that the people who join this service, are serious about finding the best product or service for them and not having the wool pulled over their eyes. So the comments and the opinions that are left by people who are members, have actually tried one of these services or businesses, and sometimes that alone is worth the price in gold. These members are not leaving fluff or out to try and sell a product or service, like so many spammers. These members are telling you about their experience with this business or service so you can judge for yourself and make the correct decision that suits you and helps you find what you're looking for.

Also what I find to be a very helpful reference is to check out the Better Business Bureau for your area. Some businesses pay out money for an application to be Better Business Bureau certified. I find that to be most helpful when I am doing research on a particular company that I am interested in. This way I can also get a second opinion and look to see if they have any complaints against them and how many they have had in the past, if any. Even if a company is not a Better Business Bureau certified member, the Better Business Bureau still may have a record on that particular company that you may find very useful in making your decision.

Numerology

Not that long ago, I did a posting on this blog about numerology. That posting obviously hit a nerve amongst a lot of you because I have received many e-mails about this subject. I must admit that numerology was not my number one concern growing up or or something that I thought about on a day-to-day basis. Sure when in school, we would have math class and then later on I took some college classes for financing and accounting but that was the extent of it.

As I grew spiritually, I got into astrology,I got into Angels, I got into tarot readings and Rune readings,became practically obsessed with history and traditions, religions and cultures. And on occasion, I would come across a reference about numerology. I admit my interest was piqued and I did sort of study it to learn more about it and become more familiar with it. Yet it still was not something I thought was a life calling.

So approximately 2 years ago or so, I came across my friend Blair, a Master Numerologist. He really piqued my interest and intrigue me. He took the time to explain things, he was courteous, and he was happy to explain what he already had knowledge in concerning numerology. So I had a numerology chart done by him and from there, I've been singing his praises.Whether you believe in this or not, you really should give it a try. I really think you'll be surprised. I certainly do know that I was blown away by it.

Below is just a tid bit of what he wrote me concerning my numerology chart:
My expression number - You are creative, intelligent and have an attentiveness to detail that can border on obsession.... (Yep, that is true)

Potential Natural Talents and Ability - The height of self-expression for you (meaning me, personally) is when you are caught up on all of your work, the house is clean, the bills are paid and everything is in perfect order. You are the number that covets civilization and all of its contents the most. If life could be defined as a machine you are the nuts and bolts that holds everything together. You believe that action speaks volumes more than words and express your respect and love for others by using a practical down-to-earth approach. You believe the greatest path to your own personal truth is to live by your personal convictions. For this reason, you are often very concerned with taking care of yourself, maintaining your belongings and property and making sure that your family and children are well cared for.


You are a diligent, hard worker who is always willing to lend a helping hand but only if it is for the good of all concerned. You don't have much patience with arrogant people and you openly express your dislike of people you consider to be controlling or pushy. Sometimes this resistance expresses itself as an outright defiance of authority. You are very courageous and almost always right but often your willingness to fall on your own sword for the sake of principle also makes you "dead right."


My Soul Urge number - What You Desire To Be, To Have, and To Do In Your Life.

The highest calling of your soul is to learn about everything scientific and esoteric. Your thirst for knowledge is only quenched by copious hours alone spent studying your pet subjects. This can be any subject as many of you aspire to have brains that are the equivalent of Alexandrian libraries.


You love to read and subjects such as history, science, metaphysics, physics, archaeology and religion fuel your rich imagination with inspiration and ideas. Many of you are geniuses, plain and simple. You are usually a dreamer rather than a doer and best suit an occupation that allows you to sit and conceptualize to your heart's desire. Money means nothing to you as all of your riches come from books and learning however many of you often end up in well paid positions simply because you are brilliant and excel in school.
Now keep in mind, that the above paragraphs are about me specifically. You have been gifted a brief glimpse inside me and about me as to who I am. Everything that was mentioned above is right on target. There was much more written in my chart, pages and pages, positive and negative, yet all of it was correct and true. The chart basically showed my life and the steps that I have taken to overcome certain habits and patterns. Meaning that some of the negative things that were in the chart I have worked on and overcome decades ago.
As people age they grow, not only physically but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Everyone has an awakening moment.

I truly can't express the joy that I found having my chart done with Blair. The information just helped me get a better insight and become more comfortable with who I am and where I was on my journey in life.

The five most common fears of astral projecting.

A friend of mine, Steve G. Jones who is a practicing hypnotherapist and astral projector, has a video out where he discusses the five most common fears of astral projecting.

If you read any astral projection book or listen to any teacher out there, the number one thing they'll tell you is to get over your fears. Because if you have fears that are still stuck in your conscious or subconscious mind, you won't be able to travel the astral realms. You can try and try as much as you like, but if you have a fear that's blocking your path, then you won't be able to enter the astral realms. And even if you do, your experience may not be as enjoyable or be very brief as you'll fly back into your physical body. The most important thing you need to get from these videos is that there really isn't anything to be afraid of. It's just a matter of educating yourself first and to immerse yourself in the subject.

The Strangest Secret.

A friend of mine, d_redant, shared this video with me and I listened to it and thought I would share it with you. This is approximately 30 minutes long. But it's worth sitting back and paying attention to because you can transform your life when you understand and apply this. We become what we think about!

George Bernard Shaw said:  Conversely, the person who has no goal, who doesn't know where he's going, and whose thoughts must therefore be thoughts of confusion, anxiety and worry – his life becomes one of frustration, fear, anxiety and worry. And if he thinks about nothing... he becomes nothing. How does it work? Why do we become what we think about? Well, I'll tell you how it works, as far as we know. To do this, I want to tell you about a situation that parallels the human mind.

Suppose a farmer has some land, and it's good, fertile land. The land gives the farmer a choice; he may plant in that land whatever he chooses. The land doesn't care. It's up to the farmer to make the decision. We're comparing the human mind with the land because the mind, like the land, doesn't care what you plant in it. It will return what you plant, but it doesn't care what you plant.

Now, let's say that the farmer has two seeds in his hand- one is a seed of corn, the other is nightshade, a deadly poison. He digs two little holes in the earth and he plants both seeds-one corn, the other nightshade. He covers up the holes, waters and takes care of the land...and what will happen? Invariably, the land will return what was planted. As it's written in the Bible, "As ye sow, so shall ye reap." Remember the land doesn't care. It will return poison in just as wonderful abundance as it will corn. So up come the two plants - one corn, one poison.

The human mind is far more fertile, far more incredible and mysterious than the land, but it works the same way. It doesn't care what we plant... success...or failure. A concrete, worthwhile goal...or confusion, misunderstanding, fear, anxiety and so on. But what we plant it must return to us.

You see, the human mind is the last great unexplored continent on earth. It contains riches beyond our wildest dreams. It will return anything we want to plant.
